As you guys have noticed by now, I am a big fan of heels. In my opinion, the higher they are, the better. But lately I have been absolutely positively super duper obsessed with wedge sneakers. Mind you, I do NOT own a pair of sneakers (except the ones I use to go running – which of course doesn’t count, Lol). So yeah, this is so unlike me, but I actually tried on a pair today and my obsession went into overdrive. I cannot wait to get a pair.
Hey loves, I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s day
As you guys might have noticed by now, I love to purchase things from smaller boutiques that only come in limited quantities. It makes me feel as if I have an exclusive item in my closet though that is not necessarily true. But a girl can dream.
As you may know, us New Yorkers have been snowed in for a few days and thankfully, I did not have to go to work so I have been hibernating in my PJ’s hence why I have not posted any OOTD (Outfit of the day). However, since Valentine’s day is around the corner, I decided to put together two outfits to give you some ideas on what you can wear either to dinner or wherever else people go with their significant others on Valentine’s day.
The first look: I think this outfit is very simple, with a touch of sexy and definitely easy to recreate without necessarily having to go shopping. The turtle neck sweater dress is from Guess (old) and I just added a pair of suspender tights. To add a pop of color I added a blue clutch from H&M with a fuchsia band and also blue suede cap toe pumps from Aldo. Gold hoops are also from Aldo and the statement ring is from Afaze.
It has been a few days since I posted something. I have been very busy but I have not given up on you all.
I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. Coincidentally enough, I found out that Emerald, my birthstone, was chosen as Color of the year. I really love green in all shades therefore I was happy they chose emerald this year. This skirt is very form fitting and I love the length and zipper details on it. It can actually be opened slightly and give the impression of a split which is really cool; the fact that it costs me only $10 was the icing on the cake What appears to be my shirt is actually a dress I purchased for my birthday a couple of years ago. A simple outfit with an edge. Hope you guys like it.

I did not get a chance to post these pictures earlier this week but this is what I wore to my sister’s birthday party last Friday. I was happy to be celebrating at home and not have to step out in the cold. Dressed up with nowhere to go never felt so good
