“Twirling against the wind – Night look”

20130503-202049.jpgOn countless occasions, I leave for work in the morning and have plans to go out that night without the option of coming home to change. As a result, I usually bring different accessories and shoes to revamp my look for the evening without having to change my entire outfit. That is what inspired this two-part look. In my last post “Twirling against the wind – Day look” I wore this dress with flats for a laid back feel.

But this time around, I added a blazer, a comfortable pair of heels, a nice clutch and also changed the stud earrings to a drop chandelier pair. This can be easily done even if you were wearing jeans in the daytime. A blazer always adds that extra touch of sophistication to uplift an outfit so in my opinion, it should be a staple in every woman’s wardrobe.

We are all wired to think creatively; some just spend more time executing their ideas than others. Creativity is not a gift or a divine intervention, it’s simply a way of operating.” John Cleese

Lesson of the day: Creativity is not a talent. Dare to be different. Write down your ideas, set goals, believe and achieve! OPERATE CREATIVELY!

That is so sweet and so are the images! I find it rfeershing, too, that I can learn new things from my kids. Why do we always want to be perfect, when children just want to have fun in the moment they are in? No plans, no stress! How do we get back to that frame of mind? So far, the best way is just observing their delicate take on life! As I write this, my 18 month old is hanging onto the back of my shirt and hopping on the exercise-ball that I sit on at my desk.
