I don’t know who started this rumor that today marks the end of summer. Absolute foolishness if you ask me!! It is still warm outside, which to me means our days are longer, we can still lounge by the beach while enjoying Italian ices (just had some today) and of course wear super bright clothes. Which reminds me: I can’t believe I have yet to go to the beach this ENTIRE summer whereas last year, I started the summer months right by vacationing in Barbados. Sigh… Good times!
About the outfit: once I put this together, it hit me that I looked like a bumble bee so I figured a hint of pink with my earrings, bracelet, clutch and lipstick would be a cool and unexpected touch. If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you would know I have an undying love for midi skirt & midi dresses and Asos is the perfect site to find both at an affordable price.

I agree with you, I don’t know where this insane idea came about that since we are entering fall we have to stop wearing bright colors. I tend to wear bright colors and just bought myself some bright lip colors!!

This is the best way to destress and get out of the house. Ever since the baby was born, my ronuite has been monotonous most weeks. But on Wednesday night after Carson let me cut out my numbers I became determined to create number cards! My husband can use his imagination and come up with great scenerios for his friends, but I get to make something with crafty materials and let the time slip away while also chatting with my lady friends. A free therapy session and a much needed break from a repetitive schedule, thank you Dr. Carson!!
