“Midi dress & caged heels”

“We must learn to stop waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel but rather praise God in the darkness.” – Unknown

The madness that is Fashion week has started and while any fashionista would quickly choose being in the tent over being at work, bills must be paid and new shoes must be bought; therefore to work we, the little people go as we constantly check the Instagram pages of our luckier counterparts for the glamorous updates.

I wore this dress a couple of weeks ago to a wedding that my event planning team and I were in charge of coordinating. As this is no easy task, I wanted to wear something that was appropriate for the occasion but still comfortable enough for all the running around involved in event coordination. This midi dress, (which I initially paired with these caged heels but last minute decided to switch to these tan sandals previously seen here) completed the task flawlessly with its soft and light material that fit my body like a glove.

Outfit details:

Dress: Asos – Sold out – Shop similar styles here // Earrings: Asos – Details & other options here // Heels: Bakers (old)  // Clutch: Local boutique

I hope you guys enjoyed this look and may your weekend be nothing short of amazing!

Stay fabulous,

Edwina
