“Surviving winter in color”

“After every storm the sun will smile; for every problem there is a solution, and the soul’s indefeasible duty is to be of good cheer.” -William R. Alger

As evident in these pictures, Mother Nature has been determined to make up for the past few winters where we barely had any snow storms. I have already lost count of the number of storms we’ve had so far this  year and it is still snowing right now. Sigh! The weather has definitely affected the consistency of my blogging but I am back with a colorful vengeance this week.

Adding some color to my wardrobe when outside looks so dreary definitely helps brighten up my mood. This look is pretty easy to recreate with endless color variations, once there is a basic understanding of the color wheel. A rule of thumb is to go with shades that are within the same color family and just have fun with the look.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you’re experiencing just as bad a winter as I am, try incorporating a hint of color in your outfits, whether it is with your coat or scarf.  Even the sun will smile 🙂

Until next time,
