All my life, I have been a girly girl and playing dress up is one hobby I never grew too old to enjoy. I often get asked by acquaintances and even strangers why I majored in Finance and not in Fashion Design. Well, as interesting and fulfilling such a career path may be for some, I was not cut out to go that route; the truth of the matter is simply: I cannot draw for the life of me but throw a math problem my way, and I will find the x and y. Lol!

Nevertheless, I never once strayed from my love of fashion. Over the years I have attended various fashion shows, all the while, being on both ends of the camera: as a model, I strutted and posed for countless designers and other times, I captured still shots of my favorite looks on the runway. I am always on the hunt for something new, fun and creative to wear because I get easily bored and anything that is routine sucks the fun out of my life.

I love colors, I love patterns and I cannot get enough of African and other types of prints. So on this blog, you will find a lot of the above along with daily inspirational quotes and other cool finds.
