“Spring blues”

Spring blues
Although I love and wear most colors, I have always had a special relationship with blue. There are too many shades of it to count but royal blue sits right at the top of my favorite colors list. This trending shade for spring is the perfect hue for a monochromatic look but it also be pairs well with burnt orange, yellow, many shades of pink especially coral and my new neutral – leopard print as seen in the sandals featured. The possibilities really are endless…
Stop by tomorrow to see how I incorporate my favorite color in my wardrobe.

“10 pairs of heeled booties in color”

Hello my loves!

My favorite seasons are hands down spring and summer (that’s expected from a Caribbean girl like me I suppose) but if there’s something that I look forward to when the temps get cooler, it’s the stylish booties and fabulous jackets we get to sashay around in.

“An obsession with Zara”

Yesterday after work, I decided to stop by Zara since I haven’t checked out their new collection. The first thing that caught my attention was this gorgeous tan coat with faux-leather detailing. I always feel like the pictures don’t do the actual products justice so it’s always best when you get to see and feel the item in person.

“A bientôt…”

“The reason it hurts so much to separate is because our souls are connected. Maybe they always have been and will be. Maybe we’ve lived a thousand lives before this one and in each of them we’ve found each other. And maybe each time, we’ve been forced apart for the same reasons. That means that this goodbye is both a goodbye for the past ten thousand years and a prelude to what will come.”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr.

“Independence Day Fashion: Rock the flag”

Happy Fourth of July everyone! 🙂
Many of us will be attending barbecues or going to the beach to jump start this holiday weekend. So I put together a few outfit ideas on how to embark on these celebrations in style:

“Floral shorts & Crop top”

High-waisted bottoms and crop tops are slowly taking over my closet this summer. I find this trend to be so sassy but can simultaneously remain classy if done right.

“Studs and things”

“Just the way it never rains when you have an umbrella, you’ll never run into people when you look fantastic. But go outside in pajamas, and you’ll run into every ex you’ve had” – Tim Gunn

Hello darlings,

There is nothing better than looking fabulous on a budget. I tend to find some insane deals, especially when I have no intentions of shopping – like the $7 I paid for this sequins H&M skirt (seen here and here) when the original price was $199+tax. Here’s the unbelievable story of these studded shorts:

“Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” -Arthur Ashe

Hey guys,

This is the skirt from Topshop that I ordered to wear for my birthday but it wasn’t delivered until the day after. I love Topshop but their standard delivery is easily 20+ days. Just terrible if you have time constraints! Anyway, when I wore it, I was asked three times if I was African. Lol! I love my African prints but I am very much Haitian. Same motherland though so yeah, I’m kind of African. Continue reading ““Safari fashion””
