This is just a quick collage that I put together to help you guys recreate this look I posted last week. I really wasn’t expecting as much positive feedback as I got because this was something I literally threw on without much thought; but for one reason or another, you guys really liked it on all social networks 🙂 Thank you all for the feedback!
“I am in competition with no one. I run my own race. I have no desire to be better than anyone in any way, shape or form. I just aim to improve, to be better than I was before. That’s me and I’m free.” – Unknown

I’ve been so busy planning my Florida trip that blogging has been put on the back seat for a little while. I fly out in two days and I have yet to pack and I’m not even done shopping. Sigh!

High-waisted bottoms and crop tops are slowly taking over my closet this summer. I find this trend to be so sassy but can simultaneously remain classy if done right.
“Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for, in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it” Ellen Goodman
WARNING: Picture heavy post! Sorry guys, I couldn’t choose. #bloggerproblems
In this post, I talked about my new found love: WEDGE SNEAKERS. Sometimes I say sneaker wedges. I am not sure it makes a difference: po-ta-to / po-tah-to. So anyway, I went out and bought a pair. I decided to go with an affordable one at Forever 21 in case I ended up not liking them but I have to say, I fell in love. They are so comfortable and with the leopard print, mine go with everything. I am pretty sure I will buy another one very soon. Check out the pictures and let me know your thoughts.
As you guys have noticed by now, I am a big fan of heels. In my opinion, the higher they are, the better. But lately I have been absolutely positively super duper obsessed with wedge sneakers. Mind you, I do NOT own a pair of sneakers (except the ones I use to go running – which of course doesn’t count, Lol). So yeah, this is so unlike me, but I actually tried on a pair today and my obsession went into overdrive. I cannot wait to get a pair.
As you may know, us New Yorkers have been snowed in for a few days and thankfully, I did not have to go to work so I have been hibernating in my PJ’s hence why I have not posted any OOTD (Outfit of the day). However, since Valentine’s day is around the corner, I decided to put together two outfits to give you some ideas on what you can wear either to dinner or wherever else people go with their significant others on Valentine’s day.
The first look: I think this outfit is very simple, with a touch of sexy and definitely easy to recreate without necessarily having to go shopping. The turtle neck sweater dress is from Guess (old) and I just added a pair of suspender tights. To add a pop of color I added a blue clutch from H&M with a fuchsia band and also blue suede cap toe pumps from Aldo. Gold hoops are also from Aldo and the statement ring is from Afaze.
I did not get a chance to post these pictures earlier this week but this is what I wore to my sister’s birthday party last Friday. I was happy to be celebrating at home and not have to step out in the cold. Dressed up with nowhere to go never felt so good 🙂
Happy holidays to all my readers! 🙂 I hope each and every one of you had an amazing Christmas with your families.
I was definitely thankful for the opportunity to spend quality time with my loved ones on Christmas but nevertheless, I could not get in the holiday spirit much this year due to the senseless killings that have been going on near us, so close to home. I cannot get those 20 innocent children who were victims of the Sandy Hook tragedy out of my mind. How could anyone?!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. I have been staying in and looking forward to the long holiday vacation coming up. I don’t really have much planned but sometimes it is best not to have any plans and being a bit spontaneous.
If it is something I love, it is a bargain. How could you not? In this post, I mentioned wanting a bright colored coat this winter.
As I browsed through H&M’s sale items last week, I saw this royal blue coat with gold zipper accents and I started hyperventilating as I usually do when I stumble upon a good deal. When I checked the price tag, it was 50% off! As you can imagine, I felt like a kid in a candy store and could not wait to put it on. I quickly grabbed both sizes 2 & 4 to see which would fit best. I like my coats to be fitted and sometimes it is very hard for a small girl to find the perfect fit.
Both sizes fitted me just as snug so I went with the 4 to allow extra room for layering. Blue is my favorite color so the decision-making process became that much easier.
