“10 pairs of heeled booties in color”

Hello my loves!

My favorite seasons are hands down spring and summer (that’s expected from a Caribbean girl like me I suppose) but if there’s something that I look forward to when the temps get cooler, it’s the stylish booties and fabulous jackets we get to sashay around in.

“Explore. Dream. Discover.”

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” ― H. Jackson Brown Jr.

“Sale Alert: 10 pairs of Shoes under $50”

Buying shoes is an addiction I hope will only worsen over time. I hope to never be cured from this beautiful disease because there is no greater feeling than admiring a new pair of heels giving dirty looks to the rest of your collection 🙂

The only thing better than buying shoes, is of course buying shoes on sale. And since I’m constantly browsing the web for sales and discounts, it was only right to share my findings with my fellow shoe lovers. I figured this was also an effective way of showing you guys some of my go to websites for affordable shoes. Shop away but don’t blame me for breaking the bank! Lol!

1.  Yellow leather wedges from Steve Madden: I mean seriously! For $29.99, you simply cannot go wrong for buying these. I am in love with the color and the fact that they’re leather; good quality is the icing on the cake.

“Wardrobe DiVersiFication – Blazer edition”

I had been lusting over this Zara blazer for a while and finally got it as a birthday gift a couple of weeks ago. I love it so much that I have decided not to wear it until I have somewhere very special to go. Lol! Don’t judge me guys…

In the meantime, here are 4 ways you can style a floral blazer this summer. Which look do you see yourself rocking?

“Styling a skater skirt”

Whether it is A-line or pencil, mini or midi, skirts are a very feminine piece of clothing fitting for many occasions, all depending on the style, length or fabric chosen. But as suggested by my last post, I have a new found love for all things skater – dresses or skirts. The fuller they are, the better in my opinion because the fullness helps to bring out one’s fun and flirty side. I just want to twirl when I wear anything with an A-line. “Leather & Leopard”

Hey loves, I hope you all had an amazing Valentine’s day 🙂
As you guys might have noticed by now, I love to purchase things from smaller boutiques that only come in limited quantities. It makes me feel as if I have an exclusive item in my closet though that is not necessarily true. But a girl can dream.

“Color of the year”

Hello loves,

It has been a few days since I posted something. I have been very busy but I have not given up on you all.

I wore this outfit to church last Sunday. Coincidentally enough, I found out that Emerald, my birthstone, was chosen as Color of the year. I really love green in all shades therefore I was happy they chose emerald this year. This skirt is very form fitting and I love the length and zipper details on it. It can actually be opened slightly and give the impression of a split which is really cool; the fact that it costs me only $10 was the icing on the cake 🙂 What appears to be my shirt is actually a dress I purchased for my birthday a couple of years ago. A simple outfit with an edge. Hope you guys like it.

“Bright winters”

Thank Goodness it’s Friday! 😉

I purchased these pants at H&M thinking and hoping they were burgundy as they appeared to be. Oxblood appears to be the color of the season and I just cannot get enough of it. However, the moment I stepped out of the house, I noticed that my jeans metamorphosed into a more purplish hue. The direct sunlight totally changed the appearance but I still like it.

“Winter blossom”

It’s unbelievable that we are having 60-degree days in New York City in the middle of January. It is usually in the teens by this time of year but I am not complaining. I’m an island girl therefore for me, the warmer, the better.

“Launch party”

“It had long since come to my attention that people of accomplishment rarely sat back and let things happen to them. They went out and happened to things.”

Versicolor launch1

As midnight hit on 12/05 (the reverse of my birthday 05/12) my blog officially launched, champagne bottles popped open, pictures captured the moment, and I was all smiles and overwhelmed with the support of my loved ones. Despite being tired from work, they all made it their duty to come show their support as I embarked on this new journey. I will forever be thankful to God for blessing me with such a great support system.

“Spiked up”

Hey lovies,

I am blogging on the go today (hence the not so clear pictures) since I went on a mini getaway to celebrate one of my favorite cousin’s birthday. We drove to Atlantic City and stayed at Harrah’s where we partied by the pool last night.

“Color blocking affair”

I got a lot of compliments on this post where I wore the orange version of these cigarette pants from Gap so I decided to show you guys the blue ones. They are super comfortable and were on sale so I went with both colors. Although I usually wear a size 3 in pants, I had to go with a double zero at Gap and they’re still fairly loose on me. I was definitely not happy about that. **Sigh!**

“Coral blocking”

Hello readers,

In true VersiColor fashion, this outfit displays an array of color so I figured I would tone it down with nude pumps, an essential item in every girl’s closet.
