“Good, better, best. Never let it rest. ‘Til your good is better and your better is best.” – St. Jerome
Hello darlings, I hope you all had a great weekend. I wore this outfit on Friday as I headed to the office and since I had dinner plans afterwards, wearing something that can easily be transitioned from day to night was key in putting this look together. My top is actually a romper but it worked just fine as a shirt with the help of a brooch to minimize the deep V cleavage. To incorporate a bit of color into the look, I decided to rock my super comfortable Zara pumps in orange and that completed my outfit.
Outfit details:
Topshop skirt
Sassy Images clothing boutique romper (worn as a shirt) – c/o
Zara pumps – sold out – identical here
A well fitted pencil midi skirt – especially in black – is most certainly a staple in my closet. It is long enough to be worn at the office and sassy enough for after-hour plans. I own them in many colors as seen here and here. What are you guys’ go-to item when it comes to transitioning from day to night?

Appreciate that. Thank you dear 🙂
Very cute and I love how everything just tie together (especially the shoes). I have to say my go to outfit will be skinny jeans (since I’m allow to wear jeans at work) pair with a sheer blouse (I usually remove the tank underneath when I leave work to make it more sexy).

Such a sweet comment. Thank you!
You really can never go wrong with jeans and a sheer blouse. There are endless accessorizing options and you can even throw on a blazer to add some spice to the look!
Thx for stopping by!
Very nicely put together, love the pop of colour and the creative use of a romper and a top. My go to outfit for a day to night transitioning is definitely the LBD.
