“NOMAD: Iphone Charger on the go”

No matter what you do for a living, it is likely that you’re on your smartphone as often as you can and unfortunately, the battery life of those devices doesn’t usually last as long as we would want them to especially when using apps (i.e. Instagram) that constantly require internet access. Who knew that there was an alternative to carrying around your regular iPhone charger or those bulky charging cases? The Nomad charge card and charge key are an easier and convenient way of having a charger with you at all times.

The charge card is shaped like a credit card and is small enough to fit into your wallet so you can carry it with you everywhere. The charge key is smaller than the charge card and like its name, is shaped like a key and can easily fit onto a key chain. Lightning CHARGEKEYNomad Charge key

After receiving these cool gadgets from Nomad, I couldn’t wait to put them to the test and tell you guys all about them. After trying out the products for a few weeks, this is what I thought about them:

 Convenience

The products are definitely convenient and portable; it’s a smart way to have your phone charger with you at all times as long as you can find a port to plug it in.

 Size

The size is definitely a plus as the products can fit right into your wallet or key chain. That’s what makes them convenient to carry around. However, one can also argue that the size can also be a negative; since the chargers are so small and have a short cable, it’s quite difficult to use the phone while it’s charging as it has to stay very close to the USB port.

 Price

The charge card and charge key go for $29 each. Depending on how you feel about the product, this may or may not be expensive for a phone charger.

 Restrictions

The chargers only work with the iPhone 5, 5S and 5C. If you have the older models of the iPhone, these will not work.

Overall, I think these are a cool alternative to carrying your charger and are worth investing in if you want a backup charger with you at ALL times in case you forget your charger at home like most of us sometimes do. The one con is the fact that they may not allow for easy access as the phone is charging but otherwise, the pros are endless.

What do you guys think? Would you be giving the Nomad charging devices a try?Signature
