The old me would have never worn this dress without cinching it at the waist like I did here. I always thought that my slender frame required fitted clothes at all times but as my style is evolving, I’m experimenting with various silhouettes and I’m loving it. For the upcoming fall season, I plan on pairing this dress with over-the-knee boots and perhaps next spring, gladiator flats would be a nice touch as well.

How do you style your shift dresses?
I agree, gladiator flats would be a nice touch. I love shirt dress simple because they are so comfy, like you I would always add a belt to cinch in my waist but I have no embraced the loose fit of shift dresses. I really love the embellishments and colour of your dress. I like to style my shift dresses with flats.
