I have a strong feeling I’m going to be living in midi skirts this spring and summer. This is a really easy and simple version of a midi skirt and bodysuit outfit, done with a print.
Camouflage, or “army print”, seems to be the forgotten print, despite the fact that it’s actually really easy to work with. Traditional camo, like leopard print, is comprised of neutral colors, which makes it easy to pair. Here, I decided to pair a camo bodysuit (going for a true OG look) with another unconventional neutral – gold. I’ve never been one to shy away from gold or sparkle in the daytime, so why not both? The casual feel of the bodysuit balances the gold shimmers in this knitted midi skirt, so I don’t look as overdressed as I am. I’m really pulling out the green in the bodysuit by adding more green accessories with the handbag. Camo can sometimes feel dull because the colors are earth-tones and aren’t too bright. There’s also a hint of green in these sandals, which pops out amongst the other colors.
