I’m not sure where its popularity stemmed from but the Cult Gaia ark bag took the blogosphere by storm over the past few months and before you knew it, everybody had one. I don’t hate the design of the bag however most of the times I’ve seen it pictured, it seemed empty. Do people only rock it for picture purposes? Are we OK with a purse that shows our personal items? I most likely won’t jump on this bandwagon but it’s a beautifully designed bag and it goes well with a lot of outfits. Here are some outfit inspiration for how to rock this bag if it is your cup of tea:
What are your thoughts on this bag? Would you buy it? Why / Why not?

Thank you for reading. Until next time,
I’ve seen clear bags and I never really understood their purpose. But I think I’d definitely buy/rock this. Mostly because it’s not as exposed as the clear bags. It has a bit of a Haitian feel to it.
I don’t really know what personal mean for others but I usually just have business cards, lip balm, wallet and phone in my purse , so I don’t think it would be an issue to rock it.

Right, this bag is see-thru which I guess is totally different from clear… When I think of items I wouldn’t want people to see, I’m thinking hygiene products. Lol there’s just a lack of privacy but I do agree this is rock’able if you want to spend this much on it! π

I actually think this bag is super cute, I loved the refined bohemian vibes mixed with the structured design, however this is definitely a blogger’s bag. You know, small camera, cell phone, lipstick, sunglasses & maybe keys. Nothing else LOL If one were to go for the whole voyeuristic bag trend, this is a way better option than the clear acrylic bags everyone wore last summer

Ha! Agreed π I assume it can be lined on the inside to provide a bit more privacy. It’s really a beautiful bag though… I’m just not convinced that it’ll stand the test of time… it’s more on the trendy side!
It definitely isn’t an everyday thing. It’s one of those things you grab with you to a BBQ when you don’t want to carry a lot. I wouldn’t buy it because I don’t think it’s cute but you can def throw your phone, sunglasses and a little wallet in there for a backyard event.

I think it’s a cool summer bag and would look fab with a floral sundress… but I just don’t want to give up my privacy to rock it…
Lol my items would be to exposed pass.

Lol I can understand why! Not everything is for everyone… but it’s cute π
It’s cute and a bit exposed. If the price was lower I wouldn’t mind getting it for the one or 2 times I may use it…lol

Exactly. The price tag doesn’t help lol π
No, I am not buying for that sane reason you mentioned -always empty and the price doesn’t make sense to me. Like you said. I love the design but functionality dictates my style.

Girl you better preach! Expensive and not functional is just not what I’m looking for these days! Thanks for stopping by! π
