When I’m not traveling, my life is pretty “basic” for lack of a better term. I go to work Monday to Friday, on Saturdays I try to rest a bit, clean the house and run errands, and on Sundays I go to church and hang out with the family. In between all of that, there is doing homework with my godson, being part of 3 ministries at church, running a blog and starting an event planning business. So basic doesn’t exactly mean unproductive; it’s just that I’m not going out much so I tend not to purchase too many items that aren’t office appropriate.
I totally keep this in mind when shopping because if I can’t wear something to church or to work, it will sit in my closet for months and that’s not making good use of the money I work hard for. Introducing the perfect midi dress. I am really considering ordering a few more in different colors because it really fits well and is budget friendly. The cleavage area is covered, the length is appropriate for work and church, and although it isn’t lined, the fabric is thick enough to not be sheer, yet breathable enough to be worn in the summer even though it comes with long sleeves – which can easily be rolled up. What makes this dress even better is that you can wear it off your shoulders in a more relaxed setting. There’s just nothing better than outfits that easily transition from day to night, all year long.
The mustard color would be gorgeous during the fall months, styled with booties or leopard print pumps. All of the pastel colors would be great for Spring and even if you’re not a fan of bold colors, there’s a black one available as well. Happy shopping friends. Until next time,
You look great … I love this dress!
