One of the most asked questions I receive online and in person is “Where can I find an outfit for insert event” so I decided to put together a list of my favorite stores to shop for African print / Ankara clothing for my fellow colorful print lovers. As I’ve mentioned before, a rule of thumb for styling colorful printed items is to pair them with neutral items and accessories to let the fun prints shine. My favorite African print items are from the following stores:

I have been featuring L’aviye pieces on the blog for years. The quality of their clothing and the variety in design are simply to die for so you definitely won’t regret shopping their awesome styles.
Yetunde Sarumi
Yetunde’s website says that the brand “fuses bold African prints with stylish designs that flatter the modern woman’s physic and lifestyle” and that couldn’t be more accurate. Love their selection of African Print clothing.
This store is probably one of the most popular African print boutiques on Instagram. I’ve known of them for years but finally decided to try them out this past summer when I was shopping for Curlfest. The look was an absolute hit. So don’t hesitate to check out their wide leg pants, pretty tops and endless dress options.
I have to add that my other African print pieces are custom made. That is such a great way to get exactly what you want, tailored to your frame but time is of the essence and custom design is not always an option which is why I love these online boutique that offer awesome ready-to-wear options.
