Blogger favorite: The muscle Tee

I’ve always enjoyed seeing how bloggers get creative and add their spin on a trendy item. Introducing the latest thing that every fashion girl is wearing: the muscle tee. Yup, it’s a simple T-shirt that was given an extra oomph with exaggerated shoulders and it is a blogger favorite for a reason. If you thought shoulder pads were a thing of the past, you are mistaken my friend. I hope this trend is here to stay because for someone who doesn’t often wear T-shirts, I totally love the look.

In this look, I simply paired it with distressed denims but I can promise you that it looks good with skirts and more formal bottoms alike because I’ve tried them. You’ll see those looks on the blog soon. Since I’m currently loving all things yellow and didn’t want to be all the way basic, I went with this head wrap that’s reminiscent of ketchup and mustard but don’t judge me ’cause that’s my business (in my best Tabitha Brown voice! 🙂 ). I finished the look with matching heels and a mini bag. Simple, easy going, comfortable and works for every body type. I highly recommend it.

The original muscle tee is priced at a whopping $75 but I was able to get mine for less than $20 at the Flamingo shop. I originally put at least ten of them in my cart because they come in so many fun colors. I then decided to check the reviews since I had never purchased on this site before. The reviews were horrible. Since the price was so good, I decided to order two of them anyway and I can say that I am satisfied with the quality and the fit. I got a size SMALL for reference. I placed my order on June 28th and it was delivered on July 10th, so it took a little less than two weeks. I can’t vouch for everything else on that site but the padded shoulder shirts are a YES for me! My jeans are from H&M and my heels are from PrettyLittleThing.

Are you a fan of the look? Let me know below. I appreciate you stopping by to check out today’s post. If you missed yesterday’s conversation on tithing, you can check it out here.
