3 amazing color combos with shades of orange

It’s obvious that we love color around here; That’s why this blog is called Versicolor Closet which means my closet will always be changeable in color. It’s actually really hard to pick one favorite color when the majority of them are just so good especially when paired with an equally beautiful shade from the color wheel.

A popular question I’ve gotten over the years is “what color goes with that?” so in today’s post, we’re checking out 3 color pairings with shades of orange. Let’s get into it.

Green and orange
You guys loved this look that I posted and I’m convinced the color way had a lot to do with it. If you’ve never paired shades of orange and green together, definitely give it a try. It can be bright – think highlighter orange and highlighter green but more muted shades work equally as well. The shades that you use make all the difference so have fun and try something new! I’ve also worn this green and orange here and here as well.

Peach and orange
I’ve always encouraged you guys that are unsure of how to wear color to start out by pairing two shades of the same color to create effortless colorful looks. It’s a foolproof way to look chic and remix all the colorful pieces in your wardrobe.

Burnt orange and lavender
Is it fall or is it spring? It doesn’t matter… For today’s outfit, I blurred the lines between the seasons with this combo that reminds me of the colors of sunset. I absolutely love how this soft lavender pairs with the rust orange. This isn’t a common color pairing but it doesn’t hurt to get inspiration from nature.

Which one of these color combos is your favorite? Let me know if you guys enjoy this kind of post. If so, I can put together a similar one with different colors.
